Paper cutter
I was trying to cut papers at work today, with paper cutter, and because I was gluttonous and tried to cut a whole bunch at the same time, I did not cut the whole thing all the way through in the first try. I then tried to use more force to make it cut, but it would not work. I finally used scissors. My co-worker Zainab laughed at me and said that I should not try to cut so many at once. I then thought of how if the papers were alive, they would have suffered so much from my repetitive attempt to cut the stack with stubbornness.

When I think back to that episode, I think of how it is similar to guillotine. If they did not cut the person's head off completely the first time, it must have hurt so much. If the knife part was dull, it would have been painful. Just imagine the repetitive action of trying to cut off a person's head...

That happened quite often in the French Revolution. There's only so many heads you can cut off before the blade becomes dull from cutting through meat and bones.

Speaking of which, there's a new board/card game called Guillotine! =D

What kind of game is it? Does it involve physical actions?

I know... I sort of don't really think of the image of the second paragraph in my mind... It's for my own good.
